The Annual Athletic Meet of Don Bosco LP School was inaugurated by Dr. T Vivekanandhan, Dean of Student Affairs at Christ College, Irinjalakuda. The event took place on the school ground.
In his inspiring inaugural address, Dr. Vivekanandhan T emphasized the importance of physical activity in daily life and encouraged students to adopt a positive attitude toward challenges and failures. He remarked, “Students should be willing to accept failures in sports and examinations. Each failure is a learning opportunity. Study the reasons behind it, rectify your mistakes, and take the next step toward success.”
The event was well-organized and Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel SDB, Rector and Manager of DB Schools, congratulated all the teachers and staff for their tireless efforts, especially highlighting the contributions of Mr. Manesh M M, office staff.
Four houses participated in the sports events, and Blue House emerged as the winner.
Medals were distributed to all the winners.
The closing ceremony of the sports meet concluded with a solemn flag-lowering by Rev Fr Emmanuel Vattakunnel and the coach received the flag from the Headmistress, Rev. Sr. Omana V P, marking the official closure of the sports meet and Mr. Soumya Banerjee,sports coach proposed vote of thanks.
