The Annual Rendezvous of 1965-2024 at Don Bosco School took place on January 4, 2025, bringing together past pupils from various decades. The event commenced with a welcome address from Principal Rev. Fr. Santhosh Mathew SDB, who emphasized the core values of a Don Bosco education. The program also featured Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel SDB, the Rector and Manager of Don Bosco Schools in Irinjalakuda, who offered his congratulations. Additionally, Rev. Fr. Shino C. Jacob SDB, Delegate from the Bangalore Province, shared his reflections on the legacy of Don Bosco’s mission.
Special guests Mrs. Marykutty Joy and the Chairperson of Irinjalakuda inaugurated the program, sharing heartfelt recollections of the previous year’s charitable activities and highlighting the commitment of Bosconians to social welfare. Mr. Siby Paul, President of the Past Pupils Association, along with Mr. Renjith Xavier, discussed the vision of the Past Pupils Association and introduced a new alumni website aimed at enhancing communication among members.
The event included a segment honoring Mr. Jose for his 50 years of service to the Don Bosco School. A batch-wise recognition ceremony showcased the achievements of alumni, and new team members were elected to ensure continuity. Mr. Abin Mathew Vellanikaran delivered the vote of thanks, and the day’s proceedings concluded with the National Anthem and a vibrant cultural program. Event Photos
